Day in Clay is for children with all types of handicapping conditions.
Includes: Autism, Downs syndrome, Williams syndrome, and children with speech and language impairment. I am sensitive to student’s skill levels and provide age and capability appropriate arts education.

Clay provides a sensory experience, although everyone reacts differently. Part of the workshop explores those impressions of clay with its textural and sensory nature. Using pictures and images is useful to develop a relationship to working in clay.
